We prefer you to pick up your tree in Skara. If you are unable to do so, we can send it.
We only send out trees on Mondays so that they do not get stuck in a warm (or cold) terminal over the weekend.
We only send at a suitable temperature. Indoor trees, minimum 10 degrees, and all trees maximum 22 degrees.
We recommend that you pick up your tree within a day of reaching the pickup location.
The distance purchase law does not apply to live trees, but we take responsibility for transport damage if you send a picture within a day of it arriving at the pickup location.
Have the camera ready while you open the box. A late picture, or a picture taken after the tree is completely unpacked, will not be accepted.
The shipping cost is high but is adjusted down when we know the final price.
Please note that this guarantee is voluntary on our part and that we have a photo of how it looked when it was packed.

Outdoor Trees
The Aleppo Pine is found in almost the entire Mediterranean region and is hardy and fast-growing. To create beautiful trees, it should be given a little room to grow, as the long needles can otherwise give it somewhat poorer proportions. The Aleppo Pine has a peculiarity compared to other species, that it has a young and a mature growth habit.

Weather and Wind
The Aleppo Pine loves the sun, and all healthy trees can stand in full sun.

It is also frost-resistant and can be placed outdoors in the southern parts of the country. It also does well in a cold unheated greenhouse.

Repotting
The Aleppo Pine, like other pines, is very resilient, and you rarely need to repot it. 2 – 4 years for younger trees, less often for older trees. Leave parts of the root ball completely untouched. So do not wash off the soil from the roots. Pines depend on symbiosis with certain fungi that should not be washed away.

Use well-draining soil, preferably with 30 – 50% lava sand, together with pumice and a small amount of akadama.

Fertilization
Halepensis needs relatively little fertilization. However, a little more fertilization can achieve the youthful needle structure, which can be a goal in itself…

Pruning
Halepensis produces shorter internodes and the possibility of more frequent pruning if the tree is fertilized regularly. If fertilized more gently, it should be pruned less often during the summer.

Wrapping
Wrap the tree late in the season when the growing season is over or just before spring growth.

Sending plants requires timing, sturdy packaging, proper weather, and communication between us.
