Among the training pots, you will primarily find larger containers suitable for bonsai or rather, aspiring bonsai. These, which are intended for growth, require a bit more space. The faster the aspiring bonsai grows, the sooner it develops a dense foliage with many small branches. The large soil volume facilitates root growth. Root growth, in turn, contributes to robust above-ground growth.
Tiepots employ a technique known as air pruning.
