Professional pruning shears/azalea shears for bonsai trimming. The long blades provide excellent access to the crown of your bonsai tree, suitable for small to medium-sized branches. This shear is a masterpiece crafted by a blacksmith in Sanjo, Niigata.
The shear is made of Yasugi steel, also known as “blue paper steel.” Yasugi steel is among the purest steel available, following the traditional method used in crafting samurai swords, from iron-rich sand to steel. The steel is then laminated in many layers to achieve outstanding strength. During the hardening process, it attains a microcrystalline “martensitic” structure, resulting in very hard steel.* Contains:

- Sulfur: less than 0.004%
